The End of an Eventful Year

I can't believe the year is already coming to an end. I know people say this all the time, but it feels like the year just flew by. Life changed dramatically; we lost and gained people, we grew up, and we experienced new things. I look forward to what 2015 has to offer.

I'm in America!

Today is Eid, so Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating this amazing day!

I applaud you if you're reading this, because I've seriously been so off my blogging game for the past year. Anyway, as some of you might know, I've been studying in the United States for a month now, and I decided that I'll be posting my reflections on here for anyone to read.

I was excited and devastated to leave everything and everyone behind.

Rustic Pathways: Thailand

Over the summer, I got an amazing opportunity to travel to Thailand with Rustic Pathways, a company specialising in group and high-school travels. I was first introduced to Rustic in a college exhibition here in Oman, where I was told that there are scholarships that students could apply for. I applied, and amazingly, I was accepted as one of 25 international students to be an International Ambassador!

It was my first time ever flying East of Oman. It was a 6 hour flight, which I considered to be relatively long, but once I arrived I arrived at Bangkok international airport and started talking to the other students there, it was nothing compared to their 26 hour flights.

#SeniorProblems

I just wanted to make a blog post before the end of September, which was the longest month ever. I'm officially a senior of 2014 (finally!), and since the school year has started, I've been getting a lot of the same things said to me and to my friends, so I decided to add them to other things we face and make a compilation which clearly states problems that all seniors have throughout their final year of high school.
