I just wanted to make a blog post before the end of September, which was the longest month ever. I'm officially a senior of 2014 (finally!), and since the school year has started, I've been getting a lot of the same things said to me and to my friends, so I decided to add them to other things we face and make a compilation which clearly states problems that all seniors have throughout their final year of high school.![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/blogger_img_proxy/AEn0k_vTwL2k0X_4rzxY8zyhQFZUAuka3PX72yRQK4wxFM4ZXMoPBej36Bc7n9LTGOZnbHoWTcdbwUTHe9XgVhcsqDYf_k5YwiekoZr4bDKKWBjCMLE0ap_c=s0-d)
1. You got that "serious" talk from your parents and family members about the importance of this year, and how they want to see you succeed and change throughout it.
2. People assume that grade 12 is a prison, but when you think about it, it's not much of a change compared to last year.
3. You get so much homework.
4. You really want to forget about your homework and studying, but you can't because you realise how important they are. And even if you do manage to forget them, you feel guilty afterwards.
5. You think about all the great things you could do throughout the year even though you're planning months ahead of time.
6. If you don't want to do something, you use the "it's okay, I'm in grade 12" excuse.
7. You want to hang out and have parties but you know that your parents won't allow you.
8. People annoy you by saying that you're not serious enough for grade 12, that you should study more, and when they compare you to others (especially family members).
9. You feel extremely stressed out about getting a good average at the end of the year, and even then you're still stressed out because you have to please your family.
10. People keep asking you about your future plans, which sucks if you're still undecided. It sucks even more because you know that if you don't have a proper response, they're going to think of you as a failure.
I hope all this work and stress pays off in the end, and I wish everyone good luck!
If you have any further #SeniorProblems , feel free to leave them in the comments.
