Summer Fun: DIY Popsicle

Hey everyone, unfortunately, summer is almost coming to an end, but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying the rest of it, which includes all its delicious food and fruits! Our main concern over the summer is how to cool off and avoid all the heat, and a great way to do that is through ice cream and drinks.  I was bored so I decided to make some home-made popsicles, and I thought it would be a fun idea to share with everyone. They're really simple and easy to prepare, not to mention delicious!

P.S: I apologise in advance for the poor quality of the pictures, they were taken by my iPhone camera.

Ingredients:

  • Vimto drink
  • Any fruits you like (I personally chose mangoes and peaches)
  • Popsicle moulds
  • Water (optional)

Recipe:

1. Cut all fruits into small pieces or cubes.
2. Fill your moulds with the fruits.
3. Fill 3/4th of moulds with vimto or any drink you'd like. You might want to add water to lessen the sugary taste. When you're done with this step, cover your moulds and place them in the freezer for 3-6 hours.
4. Finally, remove your popsicles from their moulds and enjoy their delicious taste.

PRO-tip: If you have trouble removing the popsicles from their moulds, place them underwater for 5-10 seconds!

Hope you enjoy this easy summer recipe, and make sure to leave a comment below if you try it out!
