How to French Braid

I got a lot of hits on my blog post about the fishtail braid, so I decided to blog about my other must-know hair styles such as the french braid, the dutch braid, and some easy day-to-day hair styles.
Today, I'll be teaching you how to french braid, and I'll soon be posting some hairstyles involving this braid!

Before I start, you must differentiate between the french and dutch braids. Basically, a french braid is inside your hair, while the dutch braid has a 3D effect.

So, to achieve a french braid, divide your hair into 3 parts (A and B- outer parts, C-inner part) and braid like you do a normal braid but just keep adding pieces to your braid.
1-You must start from the outer sides (A/B).
2- Put (A/B) over the middle part (C) and braid.
3- Now, add a section of hair to the piece of hair on the outer part of your braid, and continue braiding normally.
4- Repeat the process again and again and then tie your hair with a hair tie.

I know it might be hard to understand, so here's an awesome tutorial from the queen of french braids herself, Lauren Conrad:

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, see you next time!
PS: I had some trouble achieving this braid at first, but remember that practice makes perfect!
