The Summer I Turned Pretty

I have recently read this book trilogy by Jenny Han, and I would like to summarise and review it for you! 

The Summer I Turned Pretty/ It's Not Summer Without You/ We'll Always Have Summer (trilogy): these 3 books talk about

a girl (Belly) who has been going to a summer house every year with her mother (Laurel), brother (Steven), her mother's friend (Suzannah), and her two teenage boys (Conrad and Jeremiah).

One summer, everything changes, and she isn't just the little girl everyone used to know. 

Throughout the series, we discover her confusion between loving either Conrad (her "forever" love) and Jeremiah, her connection with Suzannah, and how she had always wanted to just be one of the boys.

The stories are all very captivating, as I had always wanted to know what was going to happen next and who she would finally choose. It also was very emotional because a major character dies (made me cry), and also because the author was really able to connect to me, the teenage reader, and make me think that I was Belly.

I read the 3 books in 4 days, which was a new record for me, and this shows how much I love this series! 

I would definitely recommend this series to everyone, and especially to you!
