Oscars 2013 Fashion Re-Cap

By now you've probably seen all the pictures and highlights of this year's Academy Awards, so I hope you don't mind looking at one more! I really enjoyed all the fashion at the award show, so I decided to post about it. It was not easy choosing the top 5 best-dressed celebrities, but I narrowed it down after a few days.

Let's start with the best dressed in me opinion, who is Lily Collins at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. The actress wore a Zuhair Murad lace gown which is exposed at the back, she accessorised it perfectly, and her hair and makeup was gorgeous.

Number 2 on my list, is Amanda Seyfried. The actress, who performed a song from the film "Les Miserables", wore an Alexander McQueen white dress, which she looked amazing in, and subtle makeup to complete her look.

Following her very closely at number 3, is Naomi Watts, who was nominated for her leading role in "The Impossible". She wore a Giorgio Armani silver, one-shouldered, sequined gown to the award show. In my opinion, she looked fabulous.
At number 4, is Jennifer Lawrence, who was the biggest winner of the night. I actually preferred the dress she wore to the Vanity Fair party to her dress at the Academy Awards. But she looked glamourous in both.
At the award show, she wore a Dior haute couture white tiered dress, which she fell in while walking to accept her award for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook". At the after party, she wore a gold, sequined Calvin Klein Collection gown, which complemented her perfectly.

And last but not least, at number 5, Jennifer Garner in a purple, Gucci dress with a long, tiered train. She accessorised her dress with a beautiful statement neclace. The actress supported her husband as he accepted the awards for "Argo".

Honourable mentions: Nina Dobrev, Kelly Osbourne, Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Hudson, and Stacy Keibler.

Hope you enjoyed this post, if you disagree with one of my choices or have any suggestions, feel free to comment in the comment section below!

P.S: I love this edit of Jennifer Lawrence that I got from tumblr

  1. I agree with you for the first two dresses, but the third one I prefer Jennifer's more than Naomi :).
